The Initial Response to the Murder.

The initial response to murder is to do with the reason of who or what alerted you to the crime scene, what caused someone to feel as though its necessary to go and inspect and potentially deem it necessary to alert the emergency services. When the caller gets through to one of the officer on the other side of the phone they are asked for the reason why they have called, if the officer on the side of the phone feels as though its necessary they will take further information and pass that on. If a murder has been committed then the officer on the other end of the phone will take the address and then reassure the witness and let them know there is help along the way. Once this has been done then an ambulance will then be sent to help, this is so that if anyone needs medical attention they will be able to have it.

In the Billie-Jo Jenkins murder case, Sion Jenkins was driving back from the DIY store with two of his kids in the car with them; because they wanted to help with the painting on that day. Once Sion and his two kids got back from the store, they walked towards the patio (where Billie-Jo was painting); one of the girls noticed that something was wrong with Billie-Jo. She cried for her dad shouting 'There is something wrong with Billie-Jo', which made Sion rush through and check on his foster daughter who was lying on the floor and covered in blood. This made Sion rush to the phone to make a call to the paramedics to say his foster daughter has been attacked and needs immediate attention, after the first ambulance didn't show; a second one was called which then cause the police to called as well.
