Researching and analysing intelligence is about looking into who is committing the crimes, is there a crime trend that leads to a certain suspect, what issues where there with the crimes that can lead to extra information. All this information can be used to help a particular crime that has happened. Another way that researching and analysing intelligence systems can be used is by looking at the state of the crime scene to determine if there was any signs of possible arguments or a fight, the way that this could be determined is by seeing if the crime scene is very untidy; or there could be signs of distress where the victim has tried to fight off the suspect and ended up having a small fight which lead to the crime scene being untidy and objects being broken. Another way that you could analyse the crime scene is by looking at any bodily fluids that may be present at the scene, if the fluids are still fresh then you would know that the crime has been recent.
In the Billie-Jo Jenkins case there is only one potential suspect relevant according to Billie-Jo's Aunt (who spoke out in 2006) said that the case needs to be re-opened because of the stalker that Billie-Jo apparently had fit the persona of the M 25 rapist (Antoni Imelia), who once placed a bin bag over the head of one his victims. The reason why this links into this murder is because of the small part of a bin bag in her left nostril. (This is only a presumption).
